Shelley Beaty, age 77 of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away peacefully on October 5, 2020. He was born July 30, 1943 in Byrdstown, TN son of the late Otis and Laura Beaty.
Shelley was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Shelley enjoyed being outside working around the yard. He enjoyed going on camping trips with his family in Tennessee. He loved traveling to Florida to spend his winters there. Shelley's life purpose and priority was his family. He always said that the best decision he ever made was marrying his loving wife Joan and growing their beautiful family. Shelley will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Shelley was preceded in death by his twin brother, Sheldon Beaty, and his brother, Glen Beaty.
Shelley is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joan Beaty; children, Kimberly (Robert) Dano, Robin Hill, and Shelley Byron Beaty (Crystal); grandchildren, Jaime Barnhill, Justin Dano, Jennifer Hill, Jessica Hill, Joshua and Ashley Beaty, Alicia and John Bullock, Adam Beaty; great grandchildren, Amelia, Kevin, Kaycie, Ava, Mia, Isabella; siblings, Roger (Delores) Beaty and Brooks (Rosemary) Beaty; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A Graveside Service will take place on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 1:00pm at Mt. Zion Park (27 S. Fairfield Road Beavercreek, Ohio 45440).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Shelley's honor to Alzheimer's Association.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Dayton for the love and care that they showed Shelley and his family during this difficult time.
The family would also like to send a very special thank you to Dr. Page, Dr. Johnston, and Dr. Agarwal for the love and care that they showed Shelley.
