Sheila Mae Gleason
May 19, 1940 — February 2, 2017
GLEASON, Sheila Mae, age 76 of Dayton, OH, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 2, 2017.
She was a cheerful lunch aide at Summit Elementary School who treasured every interaction she had with "her kids" (the students). Sheila was a gentle and caring woman who loved Jesus, her family, and friends and exemplified generosity and humility in all walks of life.
Preceded in death by her parents John and Ruth Frizell.
Survived by children James and Kristina Gleason; grandchildren Jonathan (Jamie) Gleason, Darryl (Whitney) Gleason, Jennifer, Jamie, Hannah, and Holly Gleason; and many other adoring family, friends, and neighbors.
Condolences to sisters Alice Lohnes and Lois Frizell, with whom Sheila shared a special bond.
A card Sheila held onto read, "If we meet and you forget me, you have lost nothing. But, if you meet THE LORD and forget Him, you have lost everything."
Although she will be sorely missed, we who had the privilege of calling her our own eagerly await the opportunity to be reunited with her again.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
