Age 54 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at her home after an extended battle with breast cancer.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, William & Fleta (Daniels) Raines; and by three brothers, Bill, Tim & William Raines.
Sheila is survived by her husband of 39 years, Shelby D. Hicks, Sr.; two sons, Shelby D. (Amy) Hicks Jr. & Shawn C. Hicks; four grandchildren, Dylan, Shawn II, Sierra & Shelby Grace; one great grandson due to be born in July; two brothers, Houbert (Sally) & Gary (Marlene) Raines; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family & many good friends.
The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Sunday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
