Sharon Rose Morton, 73, of Xenia, passed away September 9, 2017. Sharon was born in Dayton, Ohio on February 26, 1944 to the late Roy and Constance Gressner. She worked at Wright-Patterson AFB for 30 years as a Configuration Management Specialist. In her free time she enjoyed crafting, baking, genealogy, go to festivals and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Morton; her infant brother, Donald Gressner and her nephew, Keith Gressner. She is survived by her daughter, Angela (EJ) Markley; brother, Terry (Joyce) Gressner; grandchildren, Tara Markley, Tabitha (Doug) Salyers, Tyler Markley; great grandchildren, Joseph, Hayley, Hayden, Adriana, Peyton; niece, Cindi (Tim) McGlone; and great niece, Shenna McGlone. A service will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 11am at the Woodland Cemetery Chapel, 118 Woodland Ave, Dayton, OH 45409. Burial will follow.
