Sharon Maxine Little-Profitt

Sharon Maxine Little-Profitt, born August 5, 1941, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, in Miamisburg, Ohio, at the age of 84. Sharon’s life was a vibrant tapestry of dedication, family, and adventure, reflecting her big personality, outgoing spirit, and boundless energy.

A proud graduate of Stebbins High School in the class of 1959, Sharon went on to have a successful career as a buyer at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, where her diligent work and commitment were valued by many, especially when she retired in 2003. Her love of learning and new experiences was evident throughout her life, both in her professional achievements and in her personal pursuits.

Family was Sharon’s greatest accomplishment and source of pride. She is survived by her loving son, Jim Profitt, and his wife, Beth Profitt. Sharon’s legacy continues through her cherished grandson Jimmy Profitt and her great-grandchildren Zoe (Bradley) McCullah, Lil Jimmy Profitt, Jerrod Profitt, and Ricky Profitt. Her presence will be deeply missed by her sisters, Diane Hassler, Judy (Phil) Turner, and Shelia (Bobby) Steiner, as well as her brother, Kelly (Becky) Little. Numerous nieces, nephews, and friends also mourn her passing and celebrate her memory.

Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Arnold and Ethel Little; her dear daughter, Sheryl Profitt; and her sisters, Treva Turner and Becky Curtis-Beal.

Sharon’s zest for life was contagious. She was a devoted member of the Doll Club and the Daughters of the American Revolution, and found joy in gardening, travelling, and riding motorcycles. Her love for cats was well-known and a reflection of her compassionate nature. As an active member of the Pond Club and a passionate genealogist, Sharon enriched both her own life and the lives of those around her, uncovering the stories of generations past and sharing them with future generations. She could often be found enjoying the thrill of driving her Camaro—a testament to her love for adventure and her ever-youthful heart.

With an outgoing and vibrant nature, Sharon managed to stay busy and engaged with her many interests, always making time for the people and passions that meant the most to her. Her kindness and sense of humor left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A visitation to honor and remember Sharon will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek, located at 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432, on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at the same location.
