Seth Allen Miller, age 25, of Dayton passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on October 16, 2026 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. Born on June 20, 2001 in Kettering, Ohio, Seth brought a bright and unmistakable spirit to the lives of those who knew him.
Seth graduated from Wayne High School in Huber Heights with the Class of 2020 and was currently working at 202 Drive Thru in Tipp City. He will be remembered as someone with a big personality, a funny and goofy nature, and a loving, caring heart that made others feel at ease in his presence.
He found joy in the things that made life fun and meaningful. Seth absolutely loved everything related to Star Wars, enjoyed putting together Legos, and loved hiking and being outdoors. A simple gift, like the new fishing pole he had just received for Christmas, reflected the excitement he found in everyday moments and the appreciation he had for the life around him. Some of his happiest times were spent with his family, hanging out with the guys, and enjoying time with his girlfriend. Seth was also a huge animal lover and enjoyed taking care of his pets.
Above all, Seth treasured the people in his life. He is survived by his parents, Ron and Ann Miller; his grandmother, Carol Miller, lovingly known as Mammy; his aunts, Katie (David) Westgerdes and Rachel Miller; his uncles, Chris (Erica) Miller and Matt Cox; his cousins, Kylie and Evan Miller; his girlfriend, Lauren Corbin along with her daughter, Deanna; and his best friend, Gabe Linn. He will also be truly missed by his cats, Jinx and King Louie; his dogs, Chloe and Ajax, as well as his beloved bird, Clarabelle. Each of them held a special place in Seth’s life, and his memory will remain close to their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Millie Westgerdes, and by Ron Miller Sr.
Seth will be remembered for his laughter, his warmth, and the way he made ordinary days brighter simply by being himself. His love for family, his playful spirit, and his caring nature will continue to live on in the stories shared, the memories held close, and the love that surrounds his name.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. A service will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
