Selena Brock

Selena Brock, age 61 of Waynesville, passed away Friday, July 31, 2026 at Atrium Medical Center. She was born November 1, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Larry Brock and Wanda Gail Marcum.

Selena had a long distinguished career dedicated to helping others, notably at The Indigo at Beavercreek (The Preserve). She was an enthusiastic craftsperson who found joy in scrap booking and crocheting. Her lively spirit shined brightest whenever she enjoyed a night of karaoke and dancing. Selena cherished her time with her grandchildren, tended lovingly to her flower beds, and was known for her selflessness and supportive nature. Her hugs were renowned, and she was affectionately called Mamaw and Elmo by those who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Larry Brock and her uncle, Eddie Sizemore.

Selena is survived by her daughter, Kortney ( Stephen) Bishop; 4 grandchildren, Bristol, Greyson, Amelia and Addison; mother, Wanda Gail Marcum; sister, Rondella Herd; aunt, Donetta Sizemore; cousin, Ranee (Mark) Homan; special long time friends, Becky & Dave Cain and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 5, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a Funeral Service at 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
