Scott Alan Chapman

Scott Alan Chapman, age 46 of Kettering, OH passed away suddenly on Friday, September 21, 2018. He was born May 15, 1972 in Dayton, Ohio to Chester and Sharon (Frye) Chapman.

Scott enjoyed riding his Harley, going out someday's all day. He enjoyed going to festivals, car shows and flea markets with family. Scott collected transformers figures and comic books and had quite a collection of both. He enjoyed binge watching television shows and loved the UFC. Scott especially enjoyed cookouts and holidays with his family, whom he loved dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Scott is survived by his mother Sharon; a brother, Wade Chapman; a niece, Alena Chapman; a nephew, Jerrod Chapman; his maternal grandmother, Frances Frye; and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father; and his maternal grandfather, James Frye.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel with Pastor Ralph Rolfe. Burial will follow the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Dayton, 321 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, OH 45420.
