For 25 years, Saundra graced the Gold Nugget with her warm presence and attentive service as a waitress, building lasting connections through her kindness and dedication. At the time of her passing, she was employed in manufacturing at D Max, where she continued to demonstrate her admirable work ethic.

Saundra's talents extended beyond her professional life into her personal interests, where she found joy in repairing and restoring old furniture. Known for her skillful chalk painting, many treasured pieces that she restored were lovingly sold, showcasing her artistic touch. Her love for nature was evident in her care for houseplants and gardening, activities that brought peace and fulfillment to her days.

Above all, Saundra cherished her family. She was a beloved wife to her husband, Jason Alexander, and a devoted mother to her four daughters: Brandy Lathan, Kristin Jaggers, Makayla (Alex) Haggard, and Cierra Engleman. Her nurturing spirit extended to her three grandchildren, who were a source of great pride and joy.

She also leaves behind her four brothers, Charles Peaco, Lyndon Rucker, Adam Peaco, and Anthony Rucker, along with her sister, Alicia Tharp. The circle of her life is further enriched by numerous family members and friends who hold her memory dear.
