Sandra L. Goodman

Sandra L. Goodman, age 60 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born July 9, 1956 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Milton and Betty Eschelweck.

Sandy faithfully served the military until her retirement as a successful dental tech and personnel specialist for the United States Air Force. While she had many assignments, Germany was the one she enjoyed most. Sandy was a selfless wife, mother and friend. She placed other's needs in front of hers and her death is a great loss to her family and many friends.

Sandy will be missed by her loving husband of 36 years, Bob Goodman; children, Robert Goodman, Jr., Janel N. (Greg) Puckett, Tim S. Goodman, Joel (Lisa) Goodman and Mark Goodman; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Mark (Donna) Eschelweck, Keith (Penny) Eschelweck and Eric (Jody) Eschelweck.

Family will receive friends Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424), Pastor David McClary, officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Dayton National Cemetery.
