Samantha Dee Smith

Samantha Dee Smith, age 38, of Xenia, passed away November 20, 2025. Samantha was born in Xenia, Ohio on August 22, 1987 to Bruce and Robin Kehl.

Samantha was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory; paternal grandparents, Benita and Ron Kehl; maternal grandfather, Carl Morrow; as well as her cousin, Amanda Morrow.

She is survived by son, Thomas; her parents; sister, Laura Kehl; brother, Clayton (Caitlyn Alexander) Kehl; beloved boyfriend, Joshua Garmany; grandmother, Patricia Morrow; cousin, Misty (James) Trapp; nieces, Serenity and Mazie Trapp; as well as various aunts, uncles, cousins, family members, friends and clients.

Samantha graduated from Xenia High School and Miami Jacobs College. She was a proud member of the Xenia VFW and the North Dayton Anglers for many years. Samantha was also a dedicated business owner of Queen Bee Salon in Jamestown.

In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her son, traveling and planning family vacations, going to concerts, giving gifts, community involvement and bargain shopping.

Samantha touched many lives that sat in her salon chair. She had a fierce personality and was very resilient. Samantha was the life of the party and the first one to help anyone.

She was devoted to her family and friends. Samantha will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to funeral home to assist the family and her son.
