Ryan Lee Elam, age 30, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016. He was born January 24, 1986 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Danny and Cindy Elam.
Ryan was a loving father, son, brother and friend. He was also an avid fisherman and mushroom hunter. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Ryan was loved by so many who appreciated his sense of humor. He was a defender of the underdog, and loyal friend.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Elam and Archie and Patricia Franks.
In addition to his parents, Ryan is survived by his children, Nicholas and Madison Elam and Kenzie Babb; siblings, Candice (Scott Smalley) Elam, Katelyn (John Jamison) Elam, Jeremy (Stephanie) Moore and Todd Moore; grandmother, Wanda Elam; and several, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and best friend, Joey Craft.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery Xenia.
