Ryan Steven Christie

Ryan Steven Christie, 36, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away at home on August 9, 2026.

Ryan was born in Kettering, Ohio, on February 27, 1990, to Lisa Sisco-Suttles and Steven Christie.

Ryan had a deep love for his family and friends. His favorite things to do were listening to music, cuddling his dogs, driving and working on his cars, and spending time with his loved ones. He was incredibly hardworking and put special time and effort into everything he did.

Ryan is survived by his wife, Stephanie; stepchildren, Kaiden and Charlotte; mother, Lisa (Jerry) Sisco-Suttles; father, Steven Christie; mother- and father-in-law, Dawn (Tom) Waller; brothers, Spencer Christie and Jacob (Samantha) Driscoll; sister, Claire (Jared) Holt; Uncle James Sisco; Aunt Terri Law; Aunt Vicki (Norb) Mott; Uncle Randy (Judy) Winfield; grandmothers, Sandy Christie and Patricia Sisco; cousins, Andrew Reagan and Erin (Adam) Remillard; cousin, Christian Weikert; niece, Ainsley; nephew, Rhett; special pup, Roxi; and close friends, Jack Gwin and Joe McCoy, along with numerous other friends he considered family, who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Allen Sisco Sr.; grandmother, Sandra Christie; grandfather, James Christie; and uncle, John Law.

Ryan was a light in so many people's lives. He was always smiling and would do anything for his loved ones. He will be missed immensely.

Public visitation  will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH, from 1–3 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026 with Celebration of Life to follow at 3:00 pm.
