Ruth Marie Miller, born on August 24, 1929, in Preble County, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, at Bethany Village. A life marked by love, devotion, and hard work, Ruth leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by her family and friends.

Ruth was known for her wide-ranging interests as an avid reader, finding joy between the pages of countless books throughout her life. Her love for reading mirrored her engaging personality, which shone brightly in her role as a grandmother. Ruth took immense pride in watching her grandkids and great-grandkids grow, fostering deep connections and sharing joyful moments that will remain forever etched in their hearts.

In her younger years, Ruth found solace in gardening, nurturing blooms of various flowers with dedication and care. A true hard worker, she embraced every task with diligence and perseverance, embodying the values of commitment and resilience that she instilled in her family.

Ruth is survived by her two daughters, Ruth Ann (Barry) Spoonamore and Coral J. (Grant) Reed; three sons, James Richard Frey, Dennis Dewane Frey, and David Lee Frey; and her brother, Joseph (Marsha) Imes. She was a proud grandmother to four grandsons, Barry Lee Spoonamore, Noah Schafer, Stephen Frey, and Eric Stanaford; as well as four granddaughters, Bethany Spoonamore, Annette Spoonamore, Kari Frey, and Jennifer Roberts. Ruth also leaves behind six great-grandchildren who were a source of immense pride and joy, along with numerous family and friends whose lives she touched.

Ruth is preceded in death by her father, Arthur R. Imes; mother, Elma Zela Imes; and three brothers and four sisters, each of whom she remembered fondly throughout her life.

The memory of Ruth Marie Miller will continue to resonate within the hearts of those who knew her, a lasting testament to a life filled with love, laughter, and an enduring passion for family and life itself.
