Ruth Dye, a dedicated educator and beloved member of her community, passed away on November 10, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio. Born on April 3, 1941, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ruth's formative years shaped her into a nurturing and influential force in the lives of many young learners.
Starting her career as an elementary school teacher in St. Louis, Ruth exemplified her commitment to education by traveling to Texas and culminating her teaching journey in Dayton. Outside the classroom, Ruth was actively involved with the local church in her community.
Ruth leaves behind a loving family that includes her siblings, Edith Fitch, Paul Robinson, Becky Richards, and Mark Robinson. Additionally, her step-mother, Martha Robinson, aged 99, resides in Jefferson City, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Ronald and Esther Adel (Shyer) Robinson, and her husband, Donald Dye. Ruth's legacy continues through the lives she touched, reflecting her spirit of commitment, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and community. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
