Ruth A. Devitt

Ruth A. Devitt, age 87 of Xenia, OH passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018. She was born February 19, 1931 in Carroll County, Ohio to James and Martha (Hesston) Thompson.

Ruth is survived by her sons; Michael (Cathy) Devitt and Kevin (Kimberly) Devitt; two daughters, Marsha (Robert) Horton and Kennette (Paul) Ross; five grandchildren, Stephen, Martha, Tim (Caddy), Joseph and Rachel; three great grandchilden, Misha, Rylan and Dorian; and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 63 years, Howard D. Devitt; two brothers, Harold and Paul Thompson; and two grandsons, Isaiah Horton and Justin Bell.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Evangelical United Methodist Church, 195 West Third Street, Xenia, OH, 45385. Memorial Services will follow the gathering at the church at 11:00 am with Pastor Tom Hite officiating.
