Roy Lee Presson

Roy Lee Presson, age 78, of Trotwood, passed away September 28, 2026. He was born May 24, 1948 in Gary, Indiana to the late Roy Lee and Ethel Presson. In addition to his parents, Roy Lee was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Presson; siblings: Alice Muse, Bob Jurich, Joe Jurich, Brenda Dice, Marty Presson and Ward Jurich; and sister-in-law, Dottie Booso.

Roy Lee is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Sharon Presson; children: Leeanna Presson-Tzudiker (Ethan), Jarrod Beard (Valerie) and Nicholas Beard; grandchildren: Chinasia Drain, Abigayle Carr, Destiny Jones and Josephine Beard; siblings: David Presson (Mary), Linda Northern (Terry) and Phyllis Dunn; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Roy Lee worked for General Motors and retired from there after more than 30 years of service. He also was a Brick Mason, working along side his family for many years.

Roy Lee was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW Post 5018, where he was Commander.

He loved hosting get together's with family and friends, spending quiet time in the country/nature, and feeding the birds, and animals.

At his request, there will be no service. The family will hold a private celebration of his life at a later date.
