FANNING, Roy Dale, age 69, of Xenia, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ruth (Temple) Fanning. Dale is survived by his wife of 39 years, Edith Fanning; son, Ernie Fanning; sister, Ruby Arlene Spurgeon, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and gardener. Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00pm on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, July 1, 2013 at the funeral home.
