Rosalita "Rosie" Eva Mae Perez born in Dayton, Ohio, on May 28, 1998, was promoted to her eternal home on October 26, 2020, due to complications from an aneurysm and stroke. She was the second daughter to be born to Filiberto and Angela (Leach) Perez.
Rosie fell in love with God with all of her heart at a young age. At eleven years old, she received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and was baptized in Jesus' name on March 1, 2009.
Rosie graduated with Valedictorian Honors from Abundant Life Christian Academy in 2016.
Rosie had a tremendous love for animals, especially her dogs: Sophia, Piper and Nomi. Along with that, she was a chef de cuisine of fine cooking of various foods from around the world. Rosie used many of the ingredients from her garden that she and her dad planted each year in her recipes. Because of her love for nature, her room was decorated with a variety of flowers and plants. Rosie also was a talented musician and vocalist. She enjoyed playing the piano, the guitar, as well as the clarinet.
Rosie was artistically inclined and loved to express her talent in arts and crafts. One of her most favorite things to do was to go shopping and drink iced coffee with her mom. Most of all, Rosie collected friends! She possessed a winning smile and had a compassionate, loving personality that endeared people to her.
Rosie was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Eva Perez, and her maternal great-grandmother, Stella Mae Gunter. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her parents; sister, Savannah (Jeremy) Conley; brother, Malachi Perez; sisters, Soleana, Selinaa and Genesis Perez; and nephew, Joel Conley; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a multitude of friends.
Rosie will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with the memorial service beginning at noon on Monday, November 2, 2020, at Abundant Life Apostolic Church, 4100 Brown Road, Sugarcreek Township, Ohio.
