Rosemary Wicks

Rosemary V. Wicks, age 95 of Huber Heights, went home to be with the Lord on December 3, 2020. She was born October 12, 1925. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vanadare Wicks; son, Van Wicks; brothers: George Oakes and Paul Oakes.

Rosemary is survived by her daughter, Kim Slater (Tim); daughter-in-law, Tami Wicks; grandchildren: Scott Wicks (Holly), Candace Barbosa (Juan), Ryan McManus (Michelle), Chelsi Hall (Michael) and Tyler McManus; and great-grandchildren: Jake, Nathan, Payton, Kobe, Charlotte, Gage, Haileigh, Marli, Oliver and Aiden.

Rosemary worked at Hewlett Soap Factory and retired from there after many years of service. She was a dedicated member of New Beginnings Church of God. During her retired years, Rosemary volunteered at Good Samaritan Hospital, where she had over 5000 of volunteer hours.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at New Beginnings Church of God, 6649 Chambersburg Road, Huber Heights, where the funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm. Bishop Michael Cleghorn and Pastor Darryl McCoy co-officiating. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rosemary's memory to Hospice of Dayton.
