Rosemary Ann (Bauguess) Nash, age 74, of Riverside, peacefully passed on Sat. Dec. 15, 2018, at the Dayton VA Hospice.
She was a graduate of Stebbins H.S., The Dayton Art Institute, and, she served in the Marine Corps from 1969-1971, honorably discharged. Other training and job experience included, Nurse Aide, Medical Assistant, Cosmetologist, School Bus Driver, Janitorial worker. She was blessed with many artistic talents, and, had a good eye for detail. She was a compassionate caregiver to many people and animals over her lifetime. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, drawing and sewing.
She had a great respect for the defenders, rescuers, and healers of our society; military, police, firefighters, paramedics, doctors, nurses, and other caregivers. Thank you to the Riverside, OH paramedics, who on many occasions lent Rosemary their "strong arms" to help. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Dayton VA hospital and hospice, and, also the Wright Patterson AFB Oncology team. Thank you to all the people who prayed for Rosemary these last few years, she was encouraged by your kindness.
Rosemary was born in Moultrie, GA, Oct. 28, 1944, to the late Turner and Grace (Bryant) Bauguess. She is survived by her daughter, Moriah Nash of Riverside; her brother, James Bauguess of Lawrenceburg, IN; nephew, Seth Bauguess and wife, Emily (Scott), and their sons, Stephen and Brennan (great nephews), of West Chester; nephew, Andrew Bauguess and wife, April, of Roseburg, OR and a number of aunts, cousins, and others throughout North Carolina.
Rosemary was a woman of faith, and she often prayed for people and animals alike, that they have safe, loving homes, clean water and healthy food. In that light, she was a long time supporter of the Christian Broadcasting Network and Operation Blessing. In lieu of flowers, she would encourage people to donate to this cause. www.ob.org.
Family will receive friends Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:30 p.m. at at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio.
