Roselee F. Shelton

Roselee F. Shelton, born on December 5, 1928, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her hometown on July 28, 2025. She lived a life rich with faith, family, and creative pursuits, leaving a legacy that will be cherished by many.

A proud graduate of Kiser High School, Roselee's educational journey laid a foundation for her life. Her faith was paramount; she found great joy and solace attending the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall in Dayton, where she fostered deep connections within her community.

Roselee was known for her loving spirit and her remarkable hobbies. Sewing and crocheting were her passions, through which she expressed her creativity and provided warmth to her loved ones. Roselee especially cherished the moments spent with her family, creating lasting memories that will forever resonate in their hearts.

She is survived by her sons, Robert (Elizabeth) Rogers, Ben (Judy) Rogers, Daniel (Christine) Rogers, John Rogers, Richard (Gloria) Rogers, and Randy (Vickie) Rogers; her daughter, Joy (Rob) Burton; as well as 24 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. The love and support of her siblings, Jack and Pat, along with her extended family and dear friends, have been an essential part of her life.

Roselee is preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Leffew; her daughter, Debra (Donald) Daily; her sons, Michael Rogers and Edward Rogers; and her husbands, Robert Rogers and Millard Shelton. Each of these individuals played a significant role in shaping her life, and their memories will be honored and remembered fondly.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Roselee’s life during visitation on August 3, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM, both held at Newcomer Funeral Home in Kettering, Ohio.

Roselee F. Shelton will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit, kindness, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.
