Ronald Jeffrey "Ron" Vanhook

Ronald Jeffrey “Ron” Vanhook passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 55. Born on October 18, 1970, Ron will be remembered with love and gratitude by those who knew him and shared in his life.

Ron’s passing brings deep sorrow to his family and friends, who will hold close the memory of his presence, his love, and the place he filled in their lives. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Vanhook; his mother, Sylvia Haendel; his father, Jeffrey (Raven) Vanhook; his sons, Nathan Vanhook and Jerad Vanhook; his granddaughter, Josie Vanhook; and his sister, Melissa Merrill. Each of them carries forward treasured memories of Ron and the lasting bond they shared with him.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Ronald Haendel, and by Dexter, his beloved cat, whose companionship was part of his life and home.

Ron will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather figure whose life touched the hearts of those around him. He was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the LA Dodgers. His memory will continue to live on in the love of his family and in the many moments they shared together.
