Ronald Scott "R.J." Sticka, Jr.

Ronald Scott Sticka, Jr., affectionately known to friends and family as "R.J.", left this world far too soon on May 24, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio. Born on February 18, 2003, in Xenia, Ohio, Ronald was a beacon of light through his explosive personality, kindness, and unwavering faith.

From an early age, Ronald exhibited a passion for automobiles and a deep love for music. His heartfelt joy in working on cars became a defining aspect of his life, where he found solace and satisfaction. He proudly worked as a Tow Truck Driver, a career that filled him with pride, demonstrating both his dedication to helping others and his skill in navigating the roads.

Ronald was a bright star during his formative years, attending St. Brigid Elementary School, where he made lasting memories playing basketball, and eventually graduating from Carroll High School in the Class of 2021. His high school years were marked by his participation as a wrestler and football player, showcasing not only his athletic prowess but also his determination and competitive spirit.

His personality was a blend of being thoughtful and caring, yet stubborn at times, a characteristic that endeared him to his loved ones. Many will remember his confidence in his faith, a guiding principle that played a vital role in his life. Ronald was a devoted son and brother, leaving behind loving parents, Ronald and Jillian Sticka, Sr., and his cherished sister, Elaina Sticka. He is also survived by his adoring grandparents, Patricia Sticka and Larry & Debbie Knopp, along with his beloved dog, Zaza. Ronald will be missed by his uncles: Jeremy (Reiko) Knopp & family, Joshua (Laura) Knopp & family, and Robert (Brandy) Sticka & family, alongside many other loving family members and friends whose lives he touched.

Ronald's memory will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. His journey on this earth was cut short, but the legacy of his warmth, humor, and undeniable spirit will forever remain in our hearts.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio. The Funeral Service will take place the following day, Thursday, June 5, 2025, beginning at 1:00PM, at the Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at St. Brigid Cemetery.
