Ronald R. Vaughn

Ronald R. Vaughn, age 76, of Dayton, passed away June 21, 2026. He was born in West Virginia on February 14, 1950 to the late James and Minnie Vaughn. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death his wife, Paulette Vaughn; son, Dwayne Vaughn and by 10 siblings.

Ron is survived by his children: Ritchie Clark (Kevin), Tim Vaughn (Patty) and Matthew Stidham (Melissa); 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Austin; brothers: Jim (Sandy) Vaughn and Jerry (Anna) Vaughn; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ron worked for and retired from the City of Dayton, and he also worked at the Dayton Air Show. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid Elvis Presley fan.

Ron's family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. Contributions may be made in Ron's memory to Hospice of Dayton.
