Ronald L. Lowrie, Sr. age 73 of Fairborn, OH, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Dayton V.A. Medical Center. He was born August 5, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio to Byron and Helen (Sams) Lowrie.
Ronnie enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything to do with the outdoors. He was an avid gardener who loved his family dearly. Ronnie proudly served his country as a helicopter gunner in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
Ronnie is survived by a son, Ronnie S. (Susan Scaggs) Lowrie; a daughter, Michelle R. (Timothy) Cadle; two grandchildren, Olivia Marie Cadle and Sarah Michelle Cole; seven siblings, Byron, Tom, Konnie, Wanda, Terry, Kevin and James; and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Kathy; his parents; and three sons, Robert L., Jamie D. and Jeremiah B. Lowrie.
Private services will be held by the family at a later date.
