Ronald G. Johnson Sr.

Ronald G. Johnson Sr., age 86, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on June 27, 2026. He was born on April 17, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Corbie and Bertie Johnson. Ronald proudly served in the United States Army. He was an owner and operator of Ron's Parking in Downtown Dayton. He was also the owner and operator of the Memphis Club.

Ronald will be remembered as being a prankster and never knowing a stranger. He is survived by his children, Victoria Renick (Jeff), Ronda Clos (Donald), Howard Johnson (Angela), Ronald Johnson Jr., Imogene Fontenot (Steve), Karen Wolfe (Scottie), Rebekah Johnson, and Stoddard Johnson. He was blessed with 25 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Darlene Norton of West Virginia and second wife Edna Johnson of Oakdale, TN. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James and Douglas Johnson, wives Connie S. Johnson and Sondura K. Johnson, and grandson Dustin Lamance.

A visitation will be held from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Monday, July 6, 2026 with a service starting at 12:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., in Kettering Ohio. Ronald will be laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery following his service.
