Ronald Lee Houser

Ronald Lee Houser, age 86 of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 19, 2024. He was born September 7, 1938 in Eaton, Ohio to the late Clifford and Irene Houser. 

Ronald is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Janice Houser; two children, Michelle (Ed) John and Michael (Amy) Houser; four grandchildren,

Evan (Bayley) John, Caleb (Brenna) Houser, Jacob “Jake” Houser, Chloe (Evan) Potter; five great-grandchildren, River, Hudson, Goldie, Linden, and Hadley Bea; and best furfriend, Brutus. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Ronald was a 1960 graduate of The Ohio State University and later retired from Huber Heights Public Schools after 32 years of service. He was an Army Reserve Veteran and an Adult Pastoral Care Pastor at Bethel Christian Assembly of God for 30 years. Ronald enjoyed teaching Sunday School, especially Creation and Revelation. He was Chaplin of Aviation Hall of Fame Ceremony for many years and loved to study Astronomy and Science. The most important thing to Ronald was his Savior Jesus Christ, his family, and watching his beloved Buckeyes. He is well loved and will be deeply missed. 

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Christian Assembly of God or to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Ronald’s memory. 

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am - 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Bethel Christian Assembly of God (860 Grange Hall Road Beavercreek, OH 45430).
