Ronald L. Haendel

Ronald L. Haendel, age 74 of Centerville, passed away June 19, 2020. He was born on June 29, 1945 in Dayton, OH to the late Lucky and Blanche (Pendergrass) Haendel.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Tommy Haendel.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Sylvia Haendel; children, Cheryl Haendel and Rhonda Haendel; step-son, Ronald VanHook; grandchildren, Myra, Owen, Nathan and Jerad; brother, Donald Haendel and his wife, Jill Haendel; brother, Tom Haendel and his wife, Marcell; nephew, Jeff Haendel and many dear friends.
Ron proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Navy from 1963-1967. He enjoyed retirement especially playing XBox with his grandchildren. Ron just loved life to the fullest.
A private gathering will be held at the convenience of the family.
