Ronald L. Fine

Ron Fine, age 85 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026 finally reuniting with the love of his life, Shirley. He was born January 29, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Howard "Bud" and Rosemary Fine.

Ron graduated from Kettering High School and then proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. After many years of service, he happily retired from Delco Moraine. He and Shirley enjoyed traveling together across the world and visiting family along the way. In his free time, he was an avid bowler, played euchre with his friends and enjoyed sci-fi TV and movies.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Fine; step-son, Donnie Holzfaster; step-daughter, Sandy Holzfaster; grandson, Jason Baldwin; and sister, Karen Meyer.

Ron is survived by three daughters, Teri (Marty) Copas, Marty (Erik) Larson; Jana Vaughn; two sons, Michael Fine and Ronny Fine; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.

A Gathering will be held Sunday, February 15, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a Celebration of Life at 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
