WALLER, Ronald E., age 66, of Vandalia, left this world to be with his creator on Saturday, June 30, 2012.
Ronnie is survived by his adoring wife, Gail; loving children, Rhonda (Jim) Lawson, Mark (Tanya) Waller and Kristie Waller; grandchildren, Jimmy, Katie, Brady and Bella who will remember him and be told about how much their grandpa loved them; sister, Teresa (Tim) Bailey; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wendell (Gerri) McKenzie, Sue (Larry) Marshall, Rick (Phyllis) McKenzie and Tammy (Jim) Bair.
Ronnie graduated from high school in 1964 and went on to a career as a tool and die maker for more than 30 years. After retirement, Ronnie enjoyed working part time at Pizza Hut. Ronnie had numerous interests including, sports, cars, taking his jeeps off road and whatever the day brought.
He was well known at Wamplers, Camplins and the Ole Hickory. He was always so much more than a customer. Ronnie was known for his good heart and quick wit.
He was the kind of man that would not think twice about giving money to a fellow standing at an intersection with a sign asking for money. Ronnie's thoughts and jokes always kept the nurses laughing even during his chemo treatments.
He brought joy and peace to us all in his last year when he accepted Christ in his life through the guidance and counsel of his loving sister-in-law, Tammy.
Burial will follow in Bearcreek Cemetery.
If desired, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
