Roger Glenn Shoemaker

Roger Glenn Shoemaker, age 78 of Springboro, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024. He was born October 13, 1945 in Miamisburg, Ohio, the son of the late Russell and Willa Mae Shoemaker.

Roger owned a painting/home improvement business. In his youth, he attended Franklin and Waynesville Local Schools in Ohio. He also participated in boxing, basketball, baseball, and football. Roger enjoyed cooking, fishing, spending time with family, and all his puppy dogs. He loved listening to music, especially Elvis and Joe Bonamassa.

Roger was one of a kind, and his family holds fond memories of how he marched to the beat of his own drum.

Roger is survived by his children, Lisa Bush, Gina (Ken) Swift, and Shane Shoemaker; grandchildren, Peydon Bush, Kaitlan Bush, Ashton Swift, Brennan Swift, Jansen Swift, Roger A. Shoemaker, Lauren Shoemaker, and Dylan Shoemaker; and great grandchildren, Aria Berry, Hudson Gray, and Allison Gray.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
