BONAR, Rodney, age 58, of Pittsburgh, Columbus, and Dayton, passed away on August 22, 2013 after a long illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Madelyn Bonar. Rodney is survived by his partner of 26 years, Michael Sacksteder; sister, Jacqueline; brother, Robert, as well as several nieces and nephews. We will always remember him for his love of food and travel, and especially for his laugh.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 am on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where services will follow at 11:00 am. A private burial will take place at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
