Rodger Von Kelley Centers, age 76 of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at his home. He was born February 13, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Dewey Centers and Zereda Siler. He is also preceded in death by his brother, William Earl Centers and cousin, Larry Siler.
Rodger is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce Ann Centers; three children, Gina Lavon (Rob) Lind, Tina Ann (Brian) Snider, and Rodger Von Kelly Centers, Jr.; step-son, Steve (Vicki) Fletcher; five grandchildren, Jessica Seifert, Crystal Green, Brandon Fletcher, Matt Green, and Dillon Lind; two great-grandchildren, Rocco and Stella. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
He worked as a body technician and worked at Frank Z for many years. Rodger enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, drag racing and watching NASCAR races. He especially enjoyed watching Dale Earnhardt Sr. win the race.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a funeral service following at 11:00 am at the Newcomer Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio, 45439. Interment will take place at Mt. Zion Park in Xenia, Ohio.
