Robine L. Baker

Robine L. Baker, of Dayton, Ohio went to be with her Savior on January 14, 2026. She was born December 4, 1955 in Dayton, OH. Robine was a 1976 graduate of Trotwood High School. Robine had the heart of a servant, and spent her lifetime in service to others. She was a nursing assistant at Friendship Village for over 30 years, and then spent many years caring for several of her loved ones. Finally, Robine had her most favorite job of all, caring for and loving on her grandchildren.

Robine spent many days relaxing on her front porch swing listening to the sound of her windchimes. She passionately served in her church, Woodland Hills Baptist Church, in a variety of ways; decorating, planting flowers, volunteering for VBS, leading devotions and planning banquets for women’s ministry. Robine loved spending time with her family, including her husband, four children and especially her eight grandchildren. She was incredibly proud to be a mother and grandmother.

Robine was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Jean Camplin; father and mother Bobby and Sally Camplin; sisters Debbie Belcher and Rhonda Camplin; and brother-in-law James Kremer. Robine is survived by her husband of 43 years, William Baker; children; Christopher Baker (Tamarra), Amanda Deady (Roger), Amberly Winegar (Eric) and Candace Bartunek (Bryan); grandchildren, Jacob Deady, Christian and Allison Baker, Isabelle, Eli and Anna Winegar, Mason and Madison Bartunek; sisters, Judy Topolsky (Debra) and Brenda Kramer; brother Bobby Camplin Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

We are so very thankful for how she loved each of us selflessly and without abandon. We will miss her, but are so thankful for her hope in Jesus and that we’ll see her again one day in Heaven.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton with the service starting at 7:00 pm. Robine will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery on January 23, 2026 at 10:00am. If you wish to join us in procession please meet at the funeral home at 9:00am.
