Robin Garrett

We celebrate the beautiful life of Robin Michelle Garrett, of Dayton, Ohio, who peacefully gained her wings on June 23, 2026, surrounded by the love and memories of those whose lives she touched. Born on September 12, 1963, Robin lived a life filled with compassion, laughter, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.

Robin was a loving and devoted mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. To know her was to love her. She possessed a vibrant spirit that could brighten any room and a heart that welcomed everyone with open arms. She was often described as the "glue" that held people together, always willing to lend a helping hand, offer wise advice, or simply be a listening ear. Robin found genuine joy in solving problems for others and never hesitated to put someone else's needs before her own.

A proud graduate of Kiser High School, Robin carried herself with confidence, determination, and authenticity throughout her life. She was outspoken in the best way-never afraid to speak the truth, always standing up for those she loved, and often delivering her words with a sense of humor that left everyone laughing. Her quick wit, unforgettable jokes, and infectious smile created lasting memories for all who knew her.

Robin found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She had a passion for crafting and designing, expressing her creativity through beautiful handmade projects. She loved preparing meals for her family. Above all, she treasured spending time with her children, grandchildren, siblings, relatives, and friends, creating memories that will be cherished for generations.

Robin was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Steven E. & Felicia G. Garrett; her cherished sister, Carla D. Garrett; her honoring brothers, Roderick, Roland and Steven E. Garrett Jr.; and her loving grandparents, Arthur Jackson Sr. and Vadis Sebree & Ernest & Elease Garrett.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted brother, Michael (Connie) Garrett Sr.; her sister Nikki (Charles) Dixon; beloved children, Kisha Zachery, David McComb, Devin, Dalesha, Terrill, Trammel & Davion Garrett; her treasured grandchildren, Ashley, Jaylen, Kearron, Keaire, Timothy, Dylan, Amilyah, Annie, Devin Jr., Jordan, Terrill Jr., Xolani, and Eve, and her great grandchildren Cali and Maliqe. Robin also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever enriched by her love, guidance, and friendship.

Robin's legacy is not measured by material possessions but by the countless lives she touched with her kindness, generosity, strength, and unconditional love. Her laughter will echo in our hearts, her wisdom will continue to guide us, and her memory will remain a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton, located at 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 PM at the same location. Robin will be laid to rest at Shiloh Park Cemetery, 5479 Philadelphia Drive, Dayton, OH 45415, on Friday, July 17, 2026.
