He cherished the moments spent with family and friends, often sharing his quick wit and humor that endeared him to all who met him. He was also a devoted member of the Hillside Chapel in Beavercreek. Bob’s greatest joy in life was his beloved wife, Marilyn Smith Wilson, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond of love, respect and devotion.
He is survived by his sons, Scott Wilson (Brigitte), Jeff Wilson (Lisa), Mark Wilson (Judy), and Craig Wilson, whose lives he enriched with his love and guidance. Bob was also the proud grandfather to Crystal, Jesse, Matt, Rob, Kelly, Alexi, Randy, Jack, Libby, and Nina, as well as a great-grandfather to 16. The joy he found in his family was immeasurable, and he took great pride in each of their accomplishments.
Bob is also survived by his siblings, Marjorie (Clint), Dick (Mary Lou), and Don (Monica), sister-in-law Barb, and brother-in-law Bob Smith, who admired and loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert John Wilson, Jr. and Margaret Wilson; and his brother, Doug Wilson.
Outside of his professional and family commitments, Bob had a passion for sports, particularly basketball, which he even played during his college years, proudly representing the Navy. His love for activity extended to golfing with friends, and using his athletic experience to coach a variety of youth sports.
