Robert "Wayne" Stone

Robert “Wayne” Stone, 68, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on April 8, 2026.

Wayne was born on July 20, 1957, in Dayton, Ohio, to George “Bob” and Celdren Stone. He spent much of his life in Dayton and also enjoyed many years living in Florida.

Wayne loved his children and grandkids; he bragged on them often.

Wayne found happiness when working on cars alongside his brother, Danny when they were younger. . He enjoyed playing cards and any time he spent with his siblings.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George “Bob” Stone and Celdren Stone, and his son, Travis Wayne Stone.

Wayne is survived by his son, Christopher (Elizabeth) Stone; his siblings, Doris Hill, Brenda (Bill) Masters, Danny Stone, and Christine (Dave) McVicar; as well as several nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.

He will be remembered for his quiet strength and his love for family.

A private service for immediate family will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 5:30pm at Mount Olive Freewill Baptist Church, 2405 Harshman Road in Dayton, Ohio, with Pastor Hollie Vanhoose officiating.
