Robert Vesper Thompson

Robert Vesper Thompson, age 76 Years of Dayton, passed away June 6, 2025, at Wood Glen Alzheimer's Community. He was born April 1, 1949 in Middlebury, Vermont the son of Robert and Arlene Thompson.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Thompson; mother, Arlene Thompson; and sister, Carol Taggart

Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Tai Thompson; children, Robert Thompson and Tony Thompson, stepchildren, Larry Nyginn and Van Nyginn, sisters, Nilene Faransworth, Jeanette Adams, Mary Thompson. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Robert graduated from Bristol High School in Vermont. He loved to travel both local and internationally and served in the United States Army for four and a half years during the Vietnam war. Robert is well loved and will be deeply missed.
