Bob dedicated the majority of his professional life to restaurant supply sales and took immense pride in owning Sniders Carpet Cleaning. His beloved wife of 54 years, Kathleen, stood by his side, helping him run the business effectively, a testament to their strong partnership and shared vision.
A graduate of Firelands High School, Bob was known for his outgoing personality and his ability to connect with those around him. Described as a “jack of all trades,” he had a unique ability to engage people, earning the affections and respect of many. His love for family and friends resonated through all that he did, further enriching his life and those of others.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Bob proudly served as a veteran of the United States Army. He often reflected on this time in his life, noting its lasting impact on him, which highlighted his commitment to service and integrity.
Bob had a deep passion for the outdoors, where he spent countless hours enjoying nature. Among his cherished hobbies were his extensive collections of rocks and coins, which showcased his curiosity and appreciation for the world around him.
Above all, Bob's proudest accomplishments were his family, especially his grandchildren: Zach, Ben, Elizabeth, Madeline, and Isabelle. His role as a father and grandfather filled his heart with great joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen; his daughter, Kirsten (Steve) Stearns; his siblings, Ron (Lynn) Snider and Monica (Mitch) Sartoski; as well as numerous extended relatives, in-laws, and friends who will remember him fondly.
