Robert "Robbie" Salyers, born on December 27, 1995, in Dayton, Ohio, departed this world too soon on May 3, 2025. Robbie was a radiant spirit, a beacon of light whose infectious laughter and vibrant energy filled every corner of the room. He was indeed the life of the party—bubbly and ever loving, he had a heart that seemed to swell with kindness, always ready to lend a hand or share a smile. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, a true testament to his caring nature.
Above all, Robbie cherished his wife, Miaya Salyers, who was the focal point of his universe. To Robbie, she meant the world, and their bond was a beautiful reminder of true love and devotion. Together, they created a life filled with joy and laughter, a partnership that epitomized understanding and warmth.
Robbie thrived on adventure and shared experiences. He had a fierce passion for anything on wheels, from cars to motorcycles, finding joy in the thrill of burnouts and the call of the open road. His grilling prowess was legendary, often gathering family and friends for cookouts that were as much about the food as they were about camaraderie and good times. A game of cornhole was his idea of a perfect afternoon, always eager to engage in friendly competition, and his smile never faded, even in the heat of the game.
In addition to his loving wife, Robbie leaves behind his devoted parents, Curt and Tracy Salyers and Renee Salyers, and a lively circle of brothers and sisters: Joseph and Cassie Ward, Jacob Salyers, Caleb Gentry, Chelsea, Alyssa, and Zoey Clark. His grandmother, Peggy Lance, provided him with warmth and wisdom that he cherished deeply, and he is mourned by Andrew and Crystal Suttles and Della Lawson—his father-in-law and mothers-in-law—along with many other family members and friends whose lives he touched with his zest for life and kindness, including numerous cousins; his nephew, Cooper Frieszell; and aunt, Tina Blackburn.
Robbie's journey was accompanied by a loyal companion, his beloved dog, Waylon, who stood by his side through countless adventures.
While his time was cut short, the impact Robbie made on those around him will endure. He joins his beloved pops, Lannie Salyers; papaw, Norman Lance; uncle, Joe Gordon; and father-in-law, Allen Lawson, who welcomed him into their arms, leaving behind a legacy woven into the fabric of love, laughter, and lasting memories. In the lives he has touched, through shared moments of joy and connection, Robbie Salyers will forever be remembered as a vibrant soul who enriched the world around him.
