Robert (Rob) L. Brewer

Robert (Rob) L. Brewer, age 64, passed away on March 9, 2026, in Dayton, Ohio. He was born on April 16, 1961, in Ross County, Ohio. A dedicated mechanic, Rob spent many years honing his craft, earning the respect and admiration of those he worked alongside.

Rob was a very funny individual who had a remarkable ability to make others laugh, despite being naturally reserved. His humor and warmth left an indelible mark on friends and family alike.

Rob is survived by his loving sisters, Linda Poston and Rita (David) Mignerey, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will carry forward his legacy of laughter and kindness. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tilden Brewer, Jr. and Helen (Williamson) Brewer, along with his sister, Dianne Pershing, and brother, Jim Brewer.

A visitation in honor of Rob will be held on March 16, 2026, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, Ohio, 45439. Friends and family are invited to join in celebrating Rob’s life and the joyful moments he shared with everyone. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to Hospice of Dayton in memory of Rob.
