Robert R. Jones

Robert R. Jones, born on July 22, 1949, passed away on August 18, 2025. Robert was a dedicated individual who devoted much of his life to his career at General Motors, where he was known for his hard work and commitment.

Beyond his professional achievements, Robert was characterized by his generous and selfless nature. He consistently put the needs of others before his own, embodying a spirit of kindness that touched the lives of many. Whether it was family or friends, Robert always made himself available to support those around him, displaying a remarkable ability to care for others.

Among his proudest accomplishments, Robert counted his roles as a father and grandfather. He was deeply involved in the lives of his daughters, Stephanie Jones and Rebecca Reed (Kirk), and took immense pride in attending every game and event, always offering unwavering support to his children and grandchildren. His grandchildren, Cross Jennings, Lakelynn Jones, Breanna Elsman, and Brooklyn Elsman, were sources of great joy in his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Robert is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Jones. He will be remembered not only for his hard work and dedication but also for the love and joy he brought to his family. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and support will forever resonate with those who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence will be deeply missed but his spirit and love for family will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to be part of his life.
