Robert J. Spreng

Robert Joseph "Jody" Spreng passed away April 8, 2016. Robert was born on August 1, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio. He graduated from Chaminade High School in 1972 and Bowling Green University in 1976. The last eight years Robert was a substitute teacher in the Kettering School System.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Spreng and brother, John Spreng.

He is survived by his father, Robert Paul Spreng, brothers, Tim (Becky) Spreng, Chris and Sean Spreng; sisters Kathleen Dozier, Jennifer & Elizabeth Spreng and Amy Martin as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Robert loved to fish, play cards and watch sports. He was a quiet man with an infectious laugh. He was a devoted son, full of life and energy. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

A memorial mass will be held 11 am May 7, 2016, at St. Peters Church, 6161 Chambersburg Rd., Huber Heights. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road.
