Robert Earl Herron "Robbie" age 58 of Dayton, passed away January 18, 2017. He was born November 6, 1958 in Louisville, KY to the late Welby and Jimmy Herron. In addition to his parents, Robbie was preceded in death by his brothers: Leon Lawson and Perry Lawson; sisters: Druscele, Maze, Haley Mae, Rosie, Glendale and Melissa; and step-brothers: Jr. and Hubert.
Robbie is survived by his wife of 30 years, Dawn Herron; children: Jason, Nicole, Ethan and Tylor; grandchildren: Jared, Jace, Jacob, Jocelyn, Logan and Ciara; brothers and sisters: Leroy "Punk", Janie, Mary "Eggy", Frankie and Tommy; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Robbie was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard. He drove truck over the road for many years and worked for Leon's Towing in Dayton.
Visitation will be held from 12-2 pm on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm.
