Robert J. "Bob" Hassell

Robert J. Hassell, "Bob," age 58 of Lake Charles, LA passed away Monday, April 9, 2018. He was born June 26, 1959 in Jackson, Michigan, the son of Joel and Mary Hassell. Bob served his country for 3 years in the United States Army Airborn. Following his discharge, he worked as an industrial electrician until he passed away. During his lifetime, he was an active member of his parents' church and later, he and his family were members of Trinity Baptist in Lake Charles, LA.

Bob is survived by his wife, Holly; daughters, Kathy Hassell, Laura Hassell; sons, Rosco Hassell, Dawson Hassell; parents, Rev'ds Joel and Mary Hassell; brothers, David Hassell, Terry Hassell; sister, Debbie (Chris) Hassell; and 4 other brothers and 3 sisters. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and one on the way, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by one sister.

A memorial service will be conducted at his sister's home in Donnelsville, OH on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 6 pm by his father Rev'd Joel Hassell. Other services will be held on future dates in Tennessee and Louisiana.
