Robert Eugene Cummins, Sr.

Robert E. Cummins, Sr., 73, of Fairborn, passed away December 24, 2016. Robert was born in Dayton on October 11, 1943 to the late Joseph and Alice Cummins. In his free time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and he raced at Kil-Kare for many years.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Virginia Cummins; brothers, Joseph E. Cummins, Jr., Lawrence Cummins; and his sister, Barbara Sayer.

He is survived by his children, Robert "Bobby" (Jessie) Cummins, Jr., Debbie Childers, Ginny (Scott) Bryant, Troy Carter; step children, Wanda Keller, Sandy (Mark) Muluney, Drema (Troy) Rathburn; 16 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sister, Donna (Mickey) Sonntag; and several special friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 from 5- 7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where funeral services will begin at 7pm.
