Robert William Covert

Robert William Covert, age 36 of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly on February 4, 2017. He was born in Dayton to Robert Covert and Nellie Jarrels-Taylor. Robert graduated from Wayne High School in 1999. He went on the serve in the United States Army, serving a tour in Kosovo. He was devoted and loving husband, son, brother, father, and friend. Robert will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Robert is survived by his wife, Tracey Covert; daughter, Kadence Faith Covert; mother and step-father, Nellie Jarrels-Taylor and Chris Taylor; father and step-mother, Robert and Laura Covert; brothers, Mitch (Keri) Covert, Chris W. Taylor, and Justin Tayor; sisters, Jessica (Justin) Price and Nikki Taylor; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel at 11:30am. A visitation will be held for an hour and a half prior ( 10am - 11:30am ). Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery, where military honors will be rendered.
