Robert C. Uhrig, age 84 of Dayton, passed away February 19, 2016. He was born April 8, 1931 in Tippecanoe City, OH to the late Ira F. and Mary A. Uhrig. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Jacquelyn K. (Glaser) Uhrig; son, Charles R. Uhrig; brother, Dale Uhrig and sister, Carol Buzzard.
He is survived by his children, Michael A. Uhrig married to Geraldine, Sharon S. Shayler married to Bill, and Gary A. Uhrig married to Robin; 8 grandchildren, Chris, Geoff, Stephen, Drew, Ben, Lindsey, Charlie and Sherry; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Sebastian married to Bill.
Bob graduated from Randolph High School in 1949. He married Jacquelyn in 1951. Bob worked and retired from Price Brothers Company in Dayton, OH after many years of faithful service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton, in Bob's memory.
