It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Pfahl, who passed away on October 11, 2026 at the age of 63. Born on March 2, 1963 in Dayton, Ohio, Bob was the beloved son of Jack Timothy Pfahl and Mary Charlotte Pfahl.
Bob had an incredible passion for technology and was always fascinated by the latest innovations. He loved having the newest gadgets and made sure his children were never far behind. His enthusiasm for technology extended into a successful 25-year career in computer programming, where he contributed his talents to numerous companies. He loved sports and was an avid fan of the Dayton Flyers, Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds.
Bob’s greatest passion was his family. He believed deeply in the importance of community, cherished the bond he shared with his brothers, and devoted every possible moment to those he loved.
Whether traveling across the country for BMX races, taking family on camping trips, dreaming up the legendary “Bolt Bus,” or finding ways to give his children every opportunity imaginable, Bob poured his heart into creating memories and experiences for his family. He gave generously of his time, his resources, and himself, always putting his family’s happiness and success ahead of his own.
Above all else, Bob was a devoted husband, father, brother, and family man. His greatest legacy isn’t found in the work he accomplished or the things he owned, but in the love he gave, the sacrifices he made, and the countless memories he created with those who meant the most to him.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, children, Lindsay (Matthew), Bradley (Nicole) and Tyler (Shelby), grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jaxon, Averie, Callie, Madelyn, and Knox, siblings, Ken (Debbie), Tom (Michelle), and Greg (Amber), father Jack Timothy Pfahl and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Charlotte Pfahl and grandmother Irene Jergens .
Those who knew Bob will remember him for his kindness, humor, generosity, work ethic, and devotion to family. His legacy will live on through the lives he touched and the memories
